Long before a meal reaches a child's plate, it has already been through the hands of our development chefs. Working behind the scenes, they test and refine every dish — trialling flavour combinations, adjusting seasonings, finding the best seasonal ingredients, and ensuring every recipe meets our nutritional standards.

Once a dish is ready, the work shifts to making it repeatable.

 

Our chefs document everything; measurements, preparation methods, cooking times, plating guidance — and translate that knowledge into clear, detailed recipe packs distributed to kitchen teams across every school we serve.

 

The result is that whether a meal is being prepared in a large secondary kitchen or a compact primary servery, it arrives at the same standard, made the same way, with the same care. The chef's expertise travels with every recipe.
